Privacy
Short version: Tada-sk! keeps your tasks, your travels and your photo on your own device, and does not ask you for an account.
What the app keeps
- Your name, home city, tasks, coins, finds, stickers and friends list, saved in your browser on your device.
- The picture of yourself, if you add one. It is shrunk and saved on your device only.
- Clearing your browser data, or using a different phone, means the save does not come with you.
What goes over the internet
- Photographs on postcards, animals, recipes and rare finds are loaded from Wikimedia Commons when a card is on screen. Your browser asks Wikimedia for the picture, so Wikimedia sees that request the way any website would.
- When you send a friend encouragement, a card or a find, it goes through your phone's own share sheet, as a link, to whoever you pick. It does not pass through a Tada-sk! server.
- The app can keep a copy of your save in an account (an email and a link, no password). That is switched off. If it is ever switched on, signing in will be your choice and this page will say so.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no selling or sharing of your information.
- No analytics or tracking scripts in the app or on this site.
This website
This site is a handful of static pages with no cookies and no forms. Like any website, the company that hosts it keeps ordinary server logs, such as the time of a request.
